I am a consultant to Myca, providing support in the development of its technology platform, in anticipation of licensing the platform as an integral part of opening a new Hello Health practice, a medical practice powered by Myca that defines a new standard in providing consumer-centric care.

As a physician and public health advocate, I’ve had a frontline view of the shortcomings of our healthcare system. I feel excited to be part of an incredibly talented team at Myca that shares the unified vision of making healthcare more accessible for patients and practicing medicine more enjoyable and streamlined for physicians. Improving the healthcare system requires the creation of intelligent technologies and a care delivery mechanism tailored to the individual needs of patients. At Myca and Hello Health, we are doing just that and more.

My background encompasses a broad range of bench-to-bedside activities. I’ve conducted public health research on disease prevention and infection control and basic science research at the Laboratory of Cell Regulation and Carcinogenesis at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), working alongside a team of world-class scientists on the development of novel therapeutic targets for breast cancer. I’ve also worked with biotechnology companies in bringing new pharmacotherapies to the market and have conducted comprehensive evaluation of large multicenter clinical trials as a member of the Integrated Scientific and Ethical Review Board at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers in New York City.

I received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland at College Park and attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. I also hold a Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree from George Washington University. I did my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College, St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City.
